Carefully curated and refined, this dining room designed by Frank
Ponterio evokes easy American luxury within a European-style pied-à-
terre. Bold scale, a rich palette and a variety of textures create a space
of inviting sophistication.
The room dually functions as a center for entertaining or private dining.
A round table by David Iatesta and four Niermann Weeks chairs take
center stage, lit by an impressive Rose Tarlow Ribbon chandelier from
Holly Hunt. A Crescent Console from Holly Hunt is flanked by two
elegant chairs from Dessin Fournir and finished with original abstract
artwork by Matthew Lew. The setting serves as a perfect place for
celebrations or gatherings with family or friends.
If dinner plans call for a table for two, the room aptly accommodates.
An opulent, intimate table with embroidered fabric is softly illuminated
by a hand-blown Alison Berger pendant. A large format painting by
Larry Aleshire, courtesy of the Michael Taylor Showroom, serves as the
background. A grand antique limestone fireplace from Paris Ceramics
is set against shimmering Weitzner wallcovering from Donghia and
Florentine drapery fabric from Summerhill with tiebacks by Samuel &
Sons, completing the room’s warmth and polish.
