Tuesdays, Sept 2 & 16, Oct 28, Nov 11 & 25 10 am Wildlife Connections Visit the visitor center to learn about reptiles, mammals and birds from the residents of Misericordia-Heart of Mercy Tuesdays • 10:30 am–Noon Fridays in the Field Discover something new in nature with University of Illinois Extension volunteers. All ages. Fridays, Sept 5, Oct 3, Nov 7 • 10 am–Noon 3120 Milwaukee Ave, Northbrook, 847.824.8360 Building: 9 am–5 pm, closed Fridays. Grounds: 8 am–5 pm daily, Free Admission Starting November 1, Building 9 am–4 pm, grounds close at 4 pm. Nature Wellness Walks* Reconnect with nature. Relaxing meditative practices and mindfulness will be led by the University of Illinois Extension. Learn about native plants you can grow in garden, then sample different infused teas made from them. Sunday, Sept 7 • 10 am & 1 pm River Trail Workday* Help us work to make River Trail even better. Ages 10 & up. Ages 10–15 w/adult. Saturday, Sept 13 • 10 am–Noon 22 Fall Festival Celebrate the season with a special autumn fun day.
