Sunday, Oct 5 • 1:30 pm Women’s Night Out: Full Moon Empowerment* Join us for an evening designed to empower, connect and inspire us. Cost: $10/person. Ages 18 & up. Register by 10/4. Monday, Oct 6 • 7 pm Fall Photography* Enjoy a guided walk to view and photograph fall colors. For all levels. Register by 10/9. Ages 13 & up. Saturday, Oct 11 • 10 am–Noon Continued on page 24. Fishing for Women by Women Introduction to fishing for all skill levels. Learn basics, techniques and connect with nature. Ages 16 & up. Saturday, Sep 13 • 8 am Sugar Shack Time Machine* Travel through time as we open our sugar shack and learn about the history of maple syrup. Register by 9/12. Sunday, Sept 14 • 1:30 pm River Trail Nightlife: Night Hike* Learn about nocturnal animals and more on a guided hike. Cost $5/person. Register by 9/17. Ages 6 & up. Friday, Sept 19 • 7 pm National Clean Up Day* Join us and help care for our natural world by making River Trail and the surrounding preserves cleaner. Supplies onsite. Saturday, Sept 20 • 9 am–3 pm Insects of Autumn Come look at the different insects there are in the Fall season. Sunday, Sept 21 • 1:30 pm Forest Bathing for the High Holidays* Experience Shinrin-yoku, a form of therapeutic relaxation immersed in nature, during the days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
