Friday, Feb 13 • 6–8 pm Presented by Mama Edie If Walls Could Talk: Stories of the Underground Railroad-Part I* Indoor performances of joy, power and determination, celebrating the African-descended genius of scientific and botanical discovery. Saturday, Feb 21 • 11 am & 2 pm If Walls Could Talk: Stories of the Underground Railroad-Part II* An experiential performance, blending storytelling and music, about people escaping slavery to freedom. Weather permitting. Saturday, Feb 21 • 1 pm Presented by the Midwest Underground Railroad Network Local Stories of the Underground Railroad* Learn the history of local people, places and events that shaped the Underground Railroad. Saturday, Feb 28 • 1–2 pm DECEMBER Seeds of the Future* Listen to stories and a panel discussion followed by a seed swap. Presented by the Mbwakawen Harambee Collective. Sunday, Dec 7 • 1–3 pm Campfire Cooking* Learn how to set up a safe and clean campground kitchen, start a campfire and prepare a breakfast. Your favorite plant and animal suggestions are encouraged upon registration!
