PARK INFORMATION AND MAP SECURITY PROCEDURES Firearms and explosives are not per- mitted in the park, including those pos- sessed by active or off-duty service mem- bers. For the safety of all guests, all items brought into the park (including, with- out limitation, coolers, picnic baskets, bags, backpacks, and purses) are subject to search upon park entry or reentry and may be inspected again before entry into the Pavilion. A metal-detection wand or walk-through magnetometer will be used to scan patrons. Ravinia reserves the right to refuse admission to guests who refuse a security scan or search. Call the box office at 847-266-5100 for infor- mation about prohibited items. ANIMALS AND ACCESSIBILITY Only service animals, as defined by feder- al law, are permitted inside the park; pets are strictly prohibited. Visit Ravinia.org /visit/venue-accessibility for informa- tion about services available at the park for guests with disabilities. MEDICAL AID A nurse is on duty at every performance. Contact the nearest usher or security staff member in the event of a medical emergency. NO SMOKING Ravinia prohibits smoking or vaping on premises except in designated areas out- side the gates. Though Illinois legalized recreational marijuana, state law prohib- its public use of cannabis. Guests will be asked to return all forms of marijuana products to their cars or surrender them to onsite police for destruction. Violators will be removed from the park. CAMERAS AND RECORDING Professional photographic or audio/ video recording equipment is strictly prohibited at all Ravinia events and may not be brought into any facility or used during any performance. CONCERT CONTENT Ravinia does not censor or control the content created by its featured artists. Guests with language sensitivities are advised to be aware of the artists’ work before attending their performances. LOST AND FOUND Call the box office at 847-266-5100 with a description of your lost item. FOOD AND BEVERAGES Beverages are allowed in the Pavilion when purchased or served in plastic con- tainers. Drinks and cups are available at all restaurants and concessions in the park. Beverages other than water are not permitted in the Martin Theatre or Ben- nett Gordon Hall; food is not allowed in any seating except the Lawn. Guests may bring their own food and drinks (including alcohol) to have a pic- nic on the Lawn or fill a spread from the Ravinia Market ’s mini restaurants or the Café ’s variety of snacks, sandwiches, and salads; chilled soft drinks, beer, wine, and packaged cocktails; specialty coffees; and ice cream. In the Dining Pavilion, the Park View offers classic à la carte dining with sea- sonal entrées, daily specials, and a full-service bar, as well as picture win- dow views and a covered al fresco terrace. The Lawn Bar serves local craft beer, seasonal cocktails, and tavern fare at its indoor/outdoor bars, communal in- door tables, and outdoor lounge seating. Tree Top Lounge features crafted cock- tails and other curated beverages at Pa- vilion concerts, with outdoor tables over- looking the vast North Lawn in addition to indoor social seating. Harza Building, is open to eligible Ravinia donors before Pavilion and Martin Theatre concerts. Overlooking the park from the second floor of The Audrey is BMO Rooftop , a group space offering the best views of the Lawn. Email events@ravinia.org . FREE WI-FI Connect to the “Ravinia Guest” network for free Wi-Fi service in the park. FREE RIDE ON UP-NMETRA TRAIN In partnership with Metra, all trains on the Union Pacific North Line honor Ravinia tickets as train fare to and from the park. Show your dated Ravin- ia concert ticket to the conductor for a free ride on the day of the event. Se- lect trains stop at the main entrance, “Ravinia Park” station. Visit Metra.com /train-lines/UP-N for complete sched- ules, alerts, and information, including additional trains stopping at the nearby “Braeside” and “Ravinia” stations. Video screens near the box office display a schedule of trains departing from the main entrance in the evening. SEVERE WEATHER Concerts take place rain or shine, but in the event of severe weather, Ravinia may delay, interrupt, or cancel a concert. Should the National Weather Service is- sue a severe weather watch or warning once guests are in the park, video screens will display updates. When necessary, special instructions will be delivered over the speaker system. During delays or interruptions, guests may seek refuge in structures with a blinking green light at the entrance ( example below ); the light will turn red when the structure is full. In some cases, Ravinia may lead guests to refuge at nearby Braeside Elementary School. Guests who exit the park will be readmitted if the concert resumes. Ravin- ia is an open-air concert venue that can- not provide indoor refuge for all guests when the park is full. Please be aware of your surroundings, including exits.
