MARTIN THEATRE 11:00 AMSATURDAY, AUG. 16, 2025 LUCY KALANTARI & THE JAZZ CATS † † Ravinia debut LUCY KALANTARI is an artist, composer, pro- ducer, and engineer with two Grammy Awards, one Latin Grammy nomination, and a growing list of accolades for her excellence in songwrit- ing, including for Paramount+/Nick Jr.’s “Dora” series. Her latest album, Creciendo , was nom- inated for Best Children’s Music Album at the 2025 Grammys. Born of Latine descent and raised in the Dominican Republic, Kalantari writes in both English and Spanish to make children’s media that’s accessible to a broader audience, sharing messages of joy, communi- ty, and resilience. In addition to making Lucy Kalantari & the Jazz Cats music, she has col- laborated with such renowned children’s artists as Joanie Leeds, Flor Bromley, SaulPaul, Uncle Jumbo, Andrew & Polly, Fyütch, and Miss Ka- tie. Kalantari’s songs have been featured on PBS Kids Jam, Universal Kids (NBC), SiriusXM Kids Place Live, and other family programs. Live-per- formance highlights include Lollapalooza, Aus- tin City Limits, Kennedy Center, and Symphony Space, among many other venues and festivals. Kalantari is actively involved with mentorship programs like We Are Moving the Needle and Grammy U.
