She has been awarded Gold records, nine Platinum honors, three Double-Platinum records, and two Triple-Platinum awards for such era-de n- ing albums as e Way at I Am ( ), Wild Angels ( ), Evolution ( ), Emotion ( ), Martina ( ), and Timeless ( ), as well as ’s White Christmas , plus the iconic singles “Independence Day,” “Concrete Angel,” and “ is One’s for the Girls.” McBride was awarded the Covenant House Beacon of Hope Award and Music Business Association’s prestigious Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award for her philanthropic e orts on behalf of domestic violence.
