The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation

Sage Foundation

Sage Foundation is pleased to support the Grant Park Music Festival

and the position of the Festival’s Artistic Director and Principal Conductor,

held by Carlos Kalmar. Since 1955, Sage Foundation has directed its

philanthropic support to the arts, education and social services. Sage

Foundation is proud to support the Festival, giving free access to world-

class culture to more than 300,000 Chicagoans and visitors each year.

The 400 women and men of AbelsonTaylor, Chicago’s

largest healthcare advertising agency, are proud to support

the 84th summer of beautiful music under the stars. The

Grant Park Music Festival, free and accessible to all, is a gift

to Chicagoans and to visitors from around the world.

The Elizabeth F. Cheney Foundation

The Elizabeth F. Cheney Foundation was established in 1985 by Elizabeth

F. Cheney shortly before her death. Miss Cheney, a lifelong resident of the

Chicago area, was particularly interested in artistic and cultural organizations,

and she supported many such institutions during her lifetime. The primary

focus of the Foundation’s grantmaking has been on artistic excellence in

performance or presentation. The Foundation supports the musical and theater

arts, dance, museums, and public television and radio media. The Elizabeth F.

Cheney Foundation is pleased to support the Grant Park Music Festival.
