Since the first
Art and Faith of the Crèche
in 2007, the Crèche Sponsorship
Program has become increasingly popular amongst LUMA’s members.
Sponsoring a crèche in the exhibition is the perfect way to honor your
heritage, a friend, or loved one during the upcoming holiday season.
The $150 sponsorship gives you the ability to have the name(s) of your
choosing displayed on the label of your sponsored crèche.
Your sponsorship helps us to care for this special collection and present
this wonderful exhibition each year.

Highlights
Terry Dowd, Inc.
(TDI) is well known amongst museums for its superior
handling of objects that are high in value, fragile, and irreplaceable—
including fine art, artifacts, and antiques. Last November LUMA’s director,
Pamela Ambrose, ran into the founder and president of TDI—Terry Dowd,
an old friend. Shortly after this chance reunion, LUMA was tasked with
finding museum-quality storage space in which to house the exhibition
Gather Up the Fragments: The Andrews Shaker Collection
in the year leading
up to its installation in LUMA’s galleries. Mr. Dowd graciously agreed to
sponsor the exhibition by donating storage space at TDI, allowing LUMA
to put additional funds towards enhanced installation and programming.
