Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and the Grant Park

Music Festival. This season will mark Cantin’s role

and house debut at Pacific Opera Victoria singing

Leonore in

will be featured as the soprano soloist in Verdi’s

guest on a recital at Merkin Hall in New York City.

Recently, Stephen was seen as Dr. Blind in

at Santa Fe Opera, Cassio in

Otello

Dayton Opera, and Siegfried in Act 2 of

Siegfried

at Queen City Opera. Upcoming debuts include the

role of Niobe in the world premiere of

PermaDeath

a new video game opera, with White Snake Projects

in Boston, as well as a principal artist debut with

Virginia Opera as Don Ottavio in

Don Giovanni.

Ukrainian born soprano Antonina

Chehovska is a 2016 prizewinner

of the prestigious George London

Foundation Competition. She is also the recipient

of multiple awards in 2016, including first prize

from the Gerda Lissner Foundation, a grant award

from the Gulio Gari Foundation, and the Frances

MacEachron Award from The Lyndon Woodside

Oratorio-Solo Competition. Ms. Chehovska is also

prizewinner of the Cooper-Bing Competition, the

Schuyler Foundation Career Bridges Grant, Bel

Canto Vocal Scholarship, and twice the winner of

the Michigan District Metropolitan Opera National

Council Auditions, which advanced her to the

Great Lakes Regional finals in 2014 and 2015.

Ms. Chehovska’s 2016-17 engagements included

her debut with New York Festival of Song in New

York Philharmonic’s Festival

She holds two masters degrees from the University

of Michigan, one in performance (voice) and one in

Boston University, he was seen as Gregorio in

singers. Edward was a 2016 Grant winner of The

Gerda Lissner International Vocal Competition. Other

performance highlights include the opening concert

of the Opus Arts Festival in Jerusalem with the Isreali

Camerata and the role of Count Malcolm in

A Little

Night Music

with the Lidal North program in Oslo,

Norway. Currently, Edward lives and works in New

York City and this fall will join Indiana University as

a Performer Diploma candidate.

Mr. Diaz-Moresco studied at the University of

been a young artist with Central City Opera, The

Glimmerglass Festival, Chautauqua Opera and a

Stern Fellow at Songfest. Highlights from recent

on California’s ”InConcert Sierra” series, the Dame

Myra Hess Memorial Series in Chicago and the
